Bush, Paulson and Bernanke institute the 5th plank of the Communist Manifesto

Posted in Uncategorized by libertygazette on October 18, 2008

How far we have fallen… In just eight short years, the Bush administration and appointees in consort with the radical communists on the Senate Banking Committee have begun the institution of the 5th plank of the Communist Manifesto. The Communist Manifesto’s ten planks are the steps Karl Marx saw as necessary to implement a communist societal structure. This plank reads as follows:

Centralization of credit in the hands of the state, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly.

                                                                   – Karl Marx

This is the culmination of a steady drumbeat of legislation that began with the Federal Reserve Act of 1913. A point of contention, the legislation was very unpopular in its day. In the Senate, the act came up for a vote on December 23, 1913. The legislation did not have enough support to pass without political trickery. The Democratic Party supporting the act, though a majority in the US House, were a minority in the Senate. The Democrats in the Senate assured the majority Republicans that the issue would not come up for a vote until after the Holidays. With that assurance, many of the Republicans had left Washington for their home states to spend the holidays. 27 republican senators had previously indicated they would vote against the obviously communist legislation. With this impediment gone, the bill passed with a vote of 43 yeas to 25 nays.

Now, the death blow is served by none other than the Republican Party’s favorite son, George W. Bush.

This is the legacy of the Bush Administration and the Republican Party, much like Woodrow Wilson before him. We at the Liberty Gazette know that the majority of Republican Party members did not see this plank promoted in the last two elections. That is what should anger them so. It seems to be the antithesis of the ideals that the GOP has used to coerce conservative votes. Many free thinking independents would expect the “Bailout Bill” type legislation to come from the Democrat left. Unfortunately, the Bush administration drafted and pushed this legislation with the eager participation of both Republican and Democrat leaders.

What makes it worse is that, unlike in the past, the constituency of both parties was not asleep. The Capitol was flooded with calls from freedom-loving Americans, to no avail. The bill passed in an indignant expression of the legislature’s contempt for the ‘simpleton’ public. The press, just like they did with WDMs in Iraq, told us that we had to trust the leaders to save us. They reiterated that we could not possibly understand an issue of such complexity. That may be true. But, this was not a complex issue. What happened on that sad day was that our democratically elected government sold us down the river toward communism – a river that we have been on for some time now.

The frustration, on the part of those of us who have realized what just happened, is deepened by the realization that we will be labeled as the “conspiracy theorists” that George Bush warned America to ignore. When, in reality, we are simply documenting the saddest day in the great history of this Democratic experiment. We gain not pleasure in being vindicated of our warnings that this was coming.

This is why, in our view, it is critical to discard the two popular political parties. We urge you to vote for the candidate, whether Democrat or Republican, who adheres to the constitution and indicates that they are aware of the threat of socialist communism in America’s capital. If you cannot find a popular candidate to represent your love of freedom, find a third party candidate. You are never throwing ‘away your vote’ when you are voting for your beliefs. That is a fear tactic used by both parties to keep there party members in line while they do as they please to our country. In 1776, to me called a ‘party man’ was an insult to many of our founding fathers. This should be so again.
